CFS2 Aircraft
I just finished a new target. The Albatros C.VII is posted. Don't take it lightly or it will take you out. Check out the images on the home page. As usual, let me know of any problems. Thanks.
Click to download New! Albatros C.VII First appearing in late 1916 and used until mid 1918, it was popular with the air crews who flew it. Multi resolution model with breaking parts. Animated control surfaces, wheels, prop, control cables and virtual cockpit controls. Complete virtual cockpit. Includes a bomb sight for taking on the ground targets. High frame rate even in large groups. Please contact me if you have any problems with this download. Last updated 5/27/2008. Size 1.65M
Click to download Albatros D.III Completely reworked! Much improved detail in all areas. Keeping the fuselage and tail of the D.II, the D.III incorporated wings similar to the Nieuport 17. This gave the Albatros fighter a significant improvement in climb rate but unfortunately also gave it the tendency to shed the lower wing in high-speed dives. Multi resolution model with breaking parts. Animated control surfaces, wheels, prop, control cables and virtual cockpit controls. Complete virtual cockpit. Flight model is more accurate but also a bit harder to fly. It now sideslips nicely. Textures are of the aircraft flown by Werner Voss in Mid 1917. Very high frame rate even in large groups. Includes custom sounds. Please contact me if you have any problems with this download. Last updated 5/3/2008. Size 3.57M
Click to download Albatros D.II The Albatros D.I and D.II returned air superiority to Germany after the Fokker E series lost it to the DH2 and Nieuports. Multi resolution model with breaking parts. Animated control surfaces, wheels and prop. Very high frame rate even in large groups. Please contact me if you have any problems with this download. Uses the sounds of the Alb D.III below. Last updated 3/17/2007. Size 2.13M
Click to download Albatros D.V Although only a marginal improvement over the D.III, it became the standard of the German Jastas. Multi resolution model with breaking parts. Animated control surfaces, wheels and prop. Very high frame rate even in large groups. Uses the sound of the Albatros D.III above. Last updated 2/11/2007. Size 2.07M
Click to download New! Fokker D.VIII (E.V) The aircraft that shot down the last victum of the air war. Introduced late in July of 1918 it earned the name "Flying Razor" from the allies. Multi resolution model with breaking parts. Animated control surfaces, wheels, prop, control cables and virtual cockpit controls. Complete virtual cockpit. Flight model is more accurate but also a bit harder to fly. It sideslips nicely. Very high frame rate even in large groups. Please contact me if you have any problems with this download. Last updated 5/13/2008. Size 1.43M
Click to download Updated! Fokker Dr.1 triplane. Several sins have been repaired, dp file, handling, and rudder texture to name some. A very short time on the front and few in number yet it came to symbolize the German air service and Red Baron, even though he scored most of his victories in Albatros fighters. Very nice engine detail and a complete virtual cockpit. Controls are touchy so no ham fisted flying with this one. Remember to kill the engine as you cross the fence. The gauge set is available on the add-ons page. The sound uses the Nieuport 17 from this page so make sure you have it or use the included alternate sound.cfg file. High frame rate as usual. Last updated 5/14/2008. Size 2.57M
Click to download Fokker E.III - Updated to make pilot disappear when used as scenery. The aircraft that made the Fokker Scourge. Multi resolution model with breaking parts. Animated control surfaces, wheels and prop. High frame rate even in large groups. Last updated 3/17/2006. Size 1.16M
Click to download Halberstadt D.II - The aircraft that brought Germany back to equal with the Allies after the Nieuports and the D.H.2 had taken the air back from the Fokker E models. A very strong airplane despite the fragile looking rudder arrangement. It could out dive any plane of its time. Model has all the standard features, breaking parts, frame rate, etc. I hope to add a few missions for 1916 soon since I was planning on having this plane done before the campaign release. Best laid plans and all that. Last updated 3/29/2007. Size 1.23M
Click to download LVG C.II - Now uses the 12.5 Kg bombs from the AeroCrate Weapons Pack found on the Add-On page. As with the other aircraft here, high frame rate, moving and breaking parts, sparce cockpit. New texture is on the way in the near future. Keep an eye out. Last updated 2/15/2007. Size 3.25M
Click to download Three versions of the Parseval observation baloons, German, British and French markings. One of the most common baloon types on the Western Front. Using these in missions is tricky so make sure and read the instructions. Last updated 2/8/2007. Size 2.9M
